Just arrived in London a few hours ago! My 110 lbs of luggage has been manageable so far.. we’ll see how it goes on the train to Paris. I’m currently eating lunch with friends and going to a English supermarket to get ready for the NYE party. 

Later the same day: we went pub hopping tonight, 5 pubs in 4 hours. I got to try 4 different authentic British beers along with a pear cider. I also had bangers and mash (sausage and mashed potatoes with  gravy) for dinner. It was the most delicious pub food I’ve ever had.
